Branded Track & Trace for Merchants

QrX Track & Trace lets merchants give consumers a branded parcel-tracking experience with optional delivery-milestone notifications. It is configured in PortalX under Settings → Track & Trace.

What Consumers See

Consumers open a tracking page in the merchant's own brand style. The page shows a clear progress stepper and a journey timeline for the shipment, including outcomes such as "Delivery attempted" and "Returned", carrier information per parcel, and a language switcher. The tracking link is shared with the consumer by email or SMS, or shown after payment.

Designing Your Tracking Page

  • Open Settings → Track & Trace in PortalX and create or edit a tracking page design.

  • Customize the layout, texts, and branding in the visual designer, per language.

  • Use the one-click translate option to generate all supported language versions of your texts.

  • Preview the page full-screen before publishing, and publish when ready.

Milestone Notifications

You can notify consumers automatically at delivery milestones (for example: shipped, out for delivery, delivery attempted, delivered). Each milestone can be enabled or disabled separately, per channel:

  • Email: included at no extra charge.

  • SMS: optional and off by default; enabling it shows the SMS cost per destination country before you confirm. See the Pricing & Fees article for SMS cost details.

Consumers can unsubscribe from milestone notifications at any time via the link in the email or by replying STOP to an SMS. Payment-related messages are never affected by an unsubscribe.

Statistics

The Track & Trace statistics page in PortalX shows how consumers use your tracking pages, including page visits and notification funnel data, so you can see the engagement your branded tracking generates.

When to Contact Our Support Team

Contact QrX support directly if your published tracking page is not reachable, milestone notifications are not being sent, or tracking data for a specific shipment looks wrong and cannot be explained from the carrier status. Our team will investigate with you.
